Homebox
Homebox is a UK-based fintech startup that makes managing household finances simple. Their service bundles multiple bills into one easy monthly payment, eliminating the stress of keeping track of different due dates. With Homebox, handling your finances becomes hassle-free.
Problem Statement
Homebox needed a complete rebrand, starting with a new logo and visual identity. The old branding wasn’t clear and struggled to connect with users, making it hard for the company to build trust and establish a strong presence. The C-suite team wanted a brand that would stand out and make a lasting impact in the market.
Solution
We created a brand that is both distinct and memorable. The new logotype represents the transformation of multiple bills into a single, simplified payment, embodying Homebox's core service. To make the brand stand out, we chose orange as the signature colour, symbolising joy and warmth. The concept centers around empowering people to take control of their time—something that’s increasingly valuable in today’s fast-paced world.
Typography & Colour Palette
Nexa was chosen as a main font for its clean, geometric lines and modern appeal, making it a versatile option for various design needs. It blends classic elegance with a contemporary feel, making it a perfect match for Homebox.
Orange is the primary color, selected for its vibrancy and warmth. To complement it, we developed a range of grey shades that provide balance and flexibility. We also introduced a secondary color palette to allow for versatility in different design contexts. This approach ensures a cohesive yet adaptable visual identity for the brand.
Result
The rebranding of Homebox was a huge success. The C-suite team was extremely pleased with the new visual identity, which not only met but exceeded their expectations. The fresh, modern branding significantly boosted brand recognition, helping Homebox stand out in the competitive bill bundling industry.
